After reports around Team India being unhappy for being served cold food in Sydney surfaced on Wednesday (October 26), former India cricketer Virender Sehwag also had his part of share. The former India batter posted a cryptic tweet comparing Indian hospitality to be better than the western countries.

Notably, the Men in Blue who is currently in Sydney ahead of their second group stage fixture against Netherlands, scheduled to take place on October 26, expressed disappointment on the food served after the practice session. The side was served cold sandwiches and falafel, as reported.

“India are way ahead of most western countries when it comes to providing hospitality of the highest standards,” read part of Sehwag’s tweet.

The ICC is however said to be looking into this matter and has promised to resort it at the earliest. “Yes, the Indian team has told us about their issues with the food after practice. We are trying to figure out and the issue will be sorted,” an ICC source told PTI.
