The inaugural champions and last season's finalists, Rajasthan Royals are having a decent IPL season so far as Samson and co. have managed to win five of their ten fixtures in the IPL 2023. While the team has fetched 10 points in the tournament, their batters haven’t been consistent with their performance in the season. However, the fans are particularly not happy with the performance of their all-rounder, Riyan Parag.

The 21-year-old all-rounder has managed to score only 58 runs at a strike rate of 107.40 in the IPL 2023 and was also dropped from the playing XI for most of RR's matches. In their last clash against the Gujarat Titans, the Assam-born player came out to bat as an impact player but managed to score only four runs off six deliveries. After losing the match, the player took to Twitter to share a cryptic tweet.

Parag tweeted that the good times and bad eventually pass at one point. He tweeted, “Waqt acha ho ya bura Guzar he jata hai!” However, the internet didn’t seem happy with his tweet, and the young player had to face a lot of criticism from the fans. While one asked him to retire, others stated that one shouldn’t blame it on time when provided with so many opportunities.

Parag could have performed better to help the team in times of need, but the out-of-form player couldn’t prove his worth, and now stands on the verge of getting dropped from playing XI in the upcoming fixtures of Rajasthan. Speaking of the first winners of the Indian Premier League, they will now wish to make their way back in the tournament and end their losing streak by taking down the SunRisers Hyderabad in the 52nd encounter of the IPL 2023 on Sunday, May 7, at home.
