The fifth day of the Abu Dhabi T10 League 2023 saw a bizarre incident unfold in Match 14, which was played between the Northern Warrior and The Chennai Braves on Saturday, December 2. Earlier in the match, Charith Asalanka-led The Chennai Braves won the toss and invited the Angelo Matthews-led side to put the score on the board first.

However, in the second innings, former India cricketer, Abhimanyu Mithun left the fans baffled by bowling a no-ball. While over-stepping is one of the most common forms of no-ball in the game, the extent to which Mithun over-stepped the line, left everyone abuzzing on social media. While some compared this with Amir, some even speculated that there might be something going behind this.

Talking about the match, the Northern Warriors posted 106/3 runs on the board on the back of a half-century knock from Hazratullah Zazai (54), however the Charith Asalanka-led Brave sealed the match inside ten overs, by five wickets. With this win, the Chennai Braves are now at the sixth place in the points table with two wins from four matches, while Warriors continue to sit above them at fifth place with similar points.
