Golfer Adam Hadwin attempted to join his countryman in celebration after he became the first Canadian to win the Canadian Open in the last 69 years but was instead leveled like a tackling dummy. Hadwin went onto the green to attempt to join his pal in celebrating Nick Taylor's 72-foot putt, which allowed him to win the RBC Canadian Open.

As Hadwin fell to the ground, there was an audible groan from the audience, and many rushed over to try and identify him for the security guard. In the broadcast's video, it could be seen that Taylor's caddy also left the party to become involved.

To be fair to the security guy, who made an amazing tackle, it's difficult to hold him responsible. He probably only noticed a man approaching the event winner's golf ball, and it is his responsibility to halt it. Hadwin was present to celebrate Taylor's historic victory because the previous time a Canadian won this competition was in 1954. He was watching the last holes with fellow Canadians Mike Weir and Corey Conners.

Former professional and current golf influencer, Paige Spiranac also retweeted the video on her Twitter handle and shared a laugh. She captioned, "Adam Hadwin getting tackled by security lol."  On Sunday, Paige shared her hot picture on Twitter in a revealing outfit and talked about her latest content on her OnlyPaige account. She wrote, " So much new content on OP! Golf instruction, 🔥🔥 never before seen pictures, BTS of all the events I do, personalized videos, giveaways and so much more!"

Hadwin did not have any hard feelings against the guard as he must have understood that the guard was just doing his job.  “Put it in the Louvre!” Tweeted Hadwin later that night alongside a picture of the security guard’s tackle, having seen the funny side.

"Corner of my eye, I saw he got a nice tackle there," Taylor remarked following his victory. "I hope he's doing okay. Later, when I saw him, he was standing. So I hope he doesn't have any broken ribs or other injuries when he wakes up the following morning.
