Bollywood megastars Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff picked their four teams who will make the playoffs stage of the Indian Premier League 2024. The 17th of the biggest franchise T20 tournament in the world has got off to a brilliant start with several run-scoring fests, incredible bowling performances and nail-biting finishes.
Alongside the incredible cricketing action, IPL also brings in India's other favourite pastime, Bollywood. Hence promoting their upcoming Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff have been involved with this year's IPL as the duo performed at the opening ceremony of the season and recently sat down with Irfan Pathan talking about their ideal playoff scenario.
Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff pick their IPL 2024 playoff teams
Naming his four playoff teams in IPL 2024, Akshay Kumar picked the Punjab Kings, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians. On the other hand, Tiger Shroff named Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings, Royal Challengers Bengaluru and the Kolkata Knight Riders.

Virat Kohli is very inspiring: Tiger Shroff
As part of their promotional campaign with Star Sports, the official broadcaster of the IPL, Tiger Shroff spoke about Indian batting great Virat Kohli. Shroff shared how Kohli inspires him and he has a lot to learn from the Royal Challengers Bengaluru star.
Speaking on Star Sports, Tiger Shroff said, "Virat Kohli is very inspiring. Jitna bhi unke baare kahu utna kam. He's very inspirational and so much to learn from him".
