After posting 153 on board, West Indies bowlers made sure that the target would be more than enough as they rattled Zimbabwe’s batting line-up and bundled them out on 122 in 18 overs. Alzarri Joseph was the destructor-in-chief for the Windies side as his spell of 4/16 just didn’t allow Zimbabwe to play freely.

Joseph’s third wicket was extra special as he deceived Zimbabwe batter Richard Ngarava with his sheer pace. Jospeh hit the bullseye after bowling a length ball on middle and leg. The impact of ball hitting the stumps was so much that one of the bails flew in the air and landed outside the 30-yard circle.

West Indies stay alive in the competition

After suffering an embarrassing defeat against Scotland in the first game, West Indies made a strong comeback in a must-win game as they defeated Zimbabwe by 31 runs. Batting first, West Indies posted a modest total of 153 thanks to Rovman Powell's brisk innings. In reply, Zimbabwe couldn't pose a threat to Windies bowling line-up and got bundled out for 122.
