The second innings of the DC vs CSK got off to a poor start for the home side as Chennai veteran Ambati Rayudu completed a stunning catch to dismiss Prithvi Shaw. After a poor bowling effort, the Delhi Capitals were given a massive target of 223 runs which was built on the back of top knocks by Ruturaj Gaikwad and Dewon Conway.
The duo posted a massive opening partnership of 141 runs and then fireworks by Shivam Dube ensured CSK posted a massive total. Coming back to the DC batting, Shaw seemed to continue his form from the previous game and played a lofted drive towards mid-off against Tushar Deshpande.
The Mumbai batter didn't get great timing and here came Ambati Rayudu, who moved to his right and put in a perfectly judged dive to complete a stunning catch. Reacting to this feat, Ravindra Jadeja also had a priceless reaction.

After the catch, Delhi Capitals' batting continued its struggles as they were bundled out at the score of 146. For Chennai, Deepak Chahar, Maheesh Theekshana and Matheesha Pathirana combined to pick up seven wickets and emerged as the star performers.
Reacting to this win, MS Dhoni praised his team for their consistent performances. He said, "There is no recipe for success, you try and pick the best players and give them the best slot to perform. And groom them in the areas where they are not strong, somebody has to sacrifice their slot for the team. Credit to the management as well, they always back us. But, the players are most important, without the players, we can't do anything. I think death bowling, confidence is very important."
