Pakistan cricketer Haris Rauf threw the ball at Shreyas Iyer during the India vs Pakistan clash on October 14, Saturday. The cricketing rivals locked horns for the first time in seven years in India at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The incident took place in the 11th over of the second innings which was bowled by Haris Rauf, while the Indian skipper Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer were batting for India.

Sharma hit two sixes off Rauf delivery in the bowler's first over and took a single on the first ball of his second over. Speaking of Iyer, he struggled initially two dot balls before defending a ball straight to Rauf on his fourth delivery. However, it seems that the Pak bowler was still upset after being hit for two sixes as he threw the ball at Iyer, though he was still in the crease.

The action of Rauf didn't go well with the Indian fans present at the stadium and they booed the cricketer for the same. Speaking of Iyer, the cricketer went on to complete a half century for India and remained unbeaten at 53 runs 62 deliveries and helped the team secure their third consecutive win in the ongoing ICC tournament. 

On the Indian side, the Indian captain remained the highest scorer with his 86-run knock off 63 balls.
