Punjab Kings fast bowler Arshdeep Singh break off two middle stumps on two balls as he cleans up Mumbai Indians batters Tilak Varma and Nehal Wadhera. After a great batting effort, the Mumbai Indians need 15 runs in the final over, where Arshdeep Singh, gave two runs in the first balls. 

Then on the third delivery, he sent out a beaming yorker at Varma and destroyed the middle stump. As Wadhera came in as an impact sub, Singh produced another speeding yorker and broke off another middle stump. He then continued this brilliant fast bowling display and finished up the over with two more dot balls, helping PBKS register a 15-run win.

With a stunning bowling display, Arshdeep Singh claimed the Purple Cap as his current wicket tally totals 13 in seven matches. Further talking about the broken the stumps broken by Arshdeep, one such LED stump and zing balls costs up to $40,000 or INR 30 Lakhs.

Reacting to this performance,  Arshdeep Singh spoke about he kept his calm and proceeded to do his job for the team. He also highlighted the changes in his actions which have helped him avoid bowling no-balls. Singh said, " Feels good whenever I take wickets. Right now I feel even happier as the team won."
"I have shortened my run-up as it helped me with the no-ball problem and I am enjoying my cricket at the moment. Danny (Morrison) you should come and stand next to me (when bowling the final over), the heartbeat is not even close to 120," he further continued.
