On April 29 (Saturday), before the start of Kolkata Knight Riders versus Gujarat Titans encounter at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata, two former Indian cricketers Ashish Nehra and Murali Kartik shared a funny moment on the ground. The interaction was caught on camera and later got played on the giant screen to the amusement of the GT head coach.
The clip, which is currently viral on social media, had Ashish Nehra and Murali Kartik chatting beside the pitch, but suddenly, the head coach of the Gujarat Titans struck a knee in the groin area of the unassuming commentator, who instantly fell down to the ground in pain.
As Nehra started having a chuckle at the expense of his former Indian teammate, Kartik too realised the gravity of the situation and got a smile on his face. Moments later, when Murali Kartik was helped up to his own two feet by Ashish Nehra, he gestured a knee strike of his own as both gentlemen giggled at each other. When the incident was played on the giant screen at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata, the GT head coach couldn’t help himself and laughed hilariously at the moment.

Ashish Nehra, who also turned 44 on this day, got a perfect gift from his players as Gujarat Titans defeated Kolkata Knight Riders comprehensively by 7 wickets with 13 balls to spare. This victory has put the Titans on top of the IPL points table with 12 points, which includes 6 wins and 2 losses.
