The European Cricket League is known for some entertaining on-field cricket moments. One such was seen during the latest group fixture between Bugibba Blasters and Swiequi United on 7 February.

The Bugibba Blasters scored 104/9 in 10 overs. But on fourth ball of the final over, the bowler made a big blunder to leave everyone laughing. Vibhor Yadav bowled a brilliant delivery which indeed bamboozled the batter, which the wicketkeeper collected quickly. The keeper was quick to give it to the bowler to get a run-out, with the non-striker taking a huge lead in the run-up. But as Vibhor Yadav threw the ball, he missed a simple run-out chance. This instance left everyone on the field laughing.

However, seeing the aggression of the bowler on the field, the umpire who was placed behind the wickets also moved towards his left, before Vibhor aimed the ball on the wickets.
The Bugibba Blasters are eighth in the points table of the ECS Malta T10 League, while the Swiequi United sit at the top spot in the 10-team table.
