Veteran Indian cricketer Cheteshwar Pujara launched a new book authored by his wife Puja. The book with a title, “The Diary of a Cricketer’s Wife” talks about the untold stories of a cricketer’s life seen through the eyes of his wife. The couple shared a video on social media announcing the launch of their new book. The book covers a shared journey of Pujara and Puja since their marriage in 2013.
In a video shared on their social media, Cheteshwar Pujara said, “Hey everyone! I'm Cheteshwar Pujara and I'm really excited to announce a book in partnership with HarperCollins." After that, Puja replied “Hello, this must be your journey but I'm the author of the book. I'm the one who's seen it from the non-striker's end... I truly believe that there's something for everyone in the Cheteshwar Pujara story."

Cheteshwar Pujara and Puja Pujara’s book “The Diary of a Cricketer’s Wife” is slated to release on April 29. On the launch of the book, Puja talked about her husband’s personality. “Cheteshwar Pujara is stubborn, yet accommodating, secretive but with nothing to hide. He is spiritual without being sanctimonious and loves cracking silly jokes. His journey, from the streets of Rajkot to international cricket, is a unique one that I have had the privilege to be a part of and witness from close quarters,” Puja was quoted as saying by News18.
“I truly believe that there is something for everyone in the Cheteshwar Pujara story and that is why I have taken time out to write this book," she further said.
Cheteshwar Pujara and Puja Pubari got married in 2013. Before her marriage with the Indian cricketer, Puja didn’t know much about sport. In her book, she shared what it takes to get married to a cricketer.
