Sports is a great equaliser they say. While one moment a team can almost be forgiven for feeling they are the world beaters, the other moment the same team could find itself unable to put a feet right. Such dramatic shifts in the passage of play are more common in the football field than perhaps in any other competitive sport in the world.
Perhaps the best evidence of this was on display during the FIFA World Cup match between South Korea and Ghana. While Ghana had a dream start to the match and even took a 2-0 lead in the second half with the help of a goal each from Mohammed Salisu and Mohammed Kudus, the second half brought in a breath of fresh air for South Korea.
Particularly, forward Cho Gue-sung was impressive as he headed 2 goals in a span of fewer than 3 minutes to equalise for his team in this Group H encounter.
