LA Knight faced disqualification in the match against Seth Rollins on WWE Monday Night RAW. Rollins, who is the ally of Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker, saw himself in trouble after disclosing how he bluffed organisers about his knee injury during the first night of the Summerslam’s Money in the Bank contract game. Following this, Adam Pearce made the match between Rollins and Knight official. Knight was looking superb in the first half of the game as he was dominating Rollins. Seth Rollins' allies Reed and Breakker were watching the game from outside the ring.
However, when Rollins made a comeback in the match and was about to deliver a curb stomp to his rival, CM Punk broke into the scene and beat up Rollins. Punk’s intervention resulted in Knight’s disqualification and Rollins’ triumph in the contest. In a video which is going viral on social media, both Punk and Knight can be seen at the entrance where they argue with each other after the show went off air. Referees were striving to pacify them but didn’t succeed. Eventually, Adam Pearce separated both and sent them backstage. Roman Reigns, who came to take on the trio, also got assaulted and following the win, the three raised their hands and expressed their domination on the ring.
Roman Reigns might take another break
Roman Reigns is reportedly heading towards another break as he is set to play Akuma in the upcoming live-action Street Fighter film. The shooting of the movie is scheduled to begin this August in Australia.
WWE hasn’t officially confirmed his time off but Reigns is expected to stay away from action for about three and a half months. However, he’s still getting advertised for the upcoming Survivor Series on November 22, 2025, corresponding with his film production timeline.
