Conor McGregor engaged in a verbal altercation with Michael Chandler and vented his frustration at the judges after suffering his fifth consecutive defeat in The Ultimate Fighter. The Notorious was looking forward to his first win at the as his prospect Carlos Vera took on Chandler’s Brad Katona in the latest episode of the season. However, things didn’t end in Conor’s favour, and the former UFC Champion was evidently very frustrated with his fifth defeat as a coach.

McGregor disagreed with the decision and called upon judges to order a sudden death round stating, "Give him three rounds lads, we want three rounders here judges yeah? None of this two-round s***." 

The referees later announced that the decision had been made and Katona got his hands raised, leaving Conor fuming with anger. Conor targeted Chandler and implied he has never been in a five-round world title, forgetting that ‘Iron’ was a three-time world champion with Bellator before he moved to UFC in 2023.

Targeting his rival, the Irishman said, "It's five rounds for a world title. You ever had one of those world titles Michael? You ever had a five-rounder?" In response, Chandler smirked and said, "Yep, lots of them. We won both rounds, we don't need a third round when we won both."

Notably, Katona was frustrated with his performance against Chandler’s prospect. The former UFC champion would want to stop Chandler’s indomitable performance as his unbeaten teammate Lee Hammond will clash against Kurt Holobaugh next week.
