In cricket, many players enter the scene, a few become legends and then they retire! After entertaining the world for 10-15 years with their incredible skills and abilities, they bid adieu to the game leaving a huge void in the hearts of fans. As a result, people keep on seeing their resemblance in new and upcoming young cricketers.
It is a common habit for cricket lovers to go back in nostalgia after watching a player rolling back the years for them. From Virat Kohli's cover drive making fans remember Sachin Tendulkar to Darren Bravo's stance giving Brian Lara vibes, people find ways to somehow feel the presence of greats of the game.
And now, the world of cricket has found a new version of Shoaib Akhtar. The former Pakistani pacer was one of the most fierce bowlers the sport has ever seen. From his raw pace to an extremely unique bowling action, the right-arm fast-bowler was truly a special player.
However, a video has recently gone viral on social media which shows a young bowler recreating the bowling action of Shoaib Akhtar, and that too with some perfection. The name of the bowler is Imran Muhammad and the clip is from a match between Azaiba XI and Darsait Titans in Oman D20 League.

Reflecting on Imran's uncanny resemblance to Rawalpindi Express, the on-air commentator said, "I am really cued on to Imran's action right now. Look at that run-up. Even the hair that's bouncing on both sides, it's Shoaib Akhtar like. As of now, it's 10 on 10 for Imran in terms of the impersonation."
Meanwhile, Shoaib Akhtar himself is also set for a comeback on the field of cricket in the inaugural edition of the upcoming Legends League Cricket. The 46-year-old is set to be a part of the Asian Lions side and will be seen playing alongside the likes of Shahid Afridi, Sanath Jayasuriya and Muttiah Muralitharan. The tournament will be played in Oman and is set to kick off on January 20.
