Australian batter David Warner was seen helping out the ground staff as rain poured down at the  Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow against Sri Lanka. Bowling first, the Aussies were under the pump with the opening pair of Pathum Nissanka and Kusal Perera posting a massive 125-run partnership. But with a fall of a few quick wickets, the five-time champions were back in the game.

As the game entered over number 32, rains suddenly started in Lucknow and the umpires immediately asked the players to evacuate the ground. Protecting the pitch, the ground staff also rushed into the middle. Here helping these staff members, David Warner was seen carrying the covers around the stadium.

Talking about the Australian bowling, Captain Pat Cummins, Adam Zampa and Mitchell Starc were among the wickets. While Zampa emerged as a game-changer as he dismissed Kusal Mendis and Sadeera Samarawickrama in quick succession.
