Delhi Capitals have finally given up the last spot on the points table they had occupied for most of the season of the Indian Premier League. In their last clash, the Capitals took down the Bengaluru-based franchise in their home game on May 6, Saturday, to advance to ninth spot on the table. An exceptional show put up by Philip Salt during his explosive innings of 87 runs helped the Warner-led side chase down the score of 181 and clinch victory. The win against RCB was a critical one for the team, and it surely filled the players with enthusiasm to fight their way back in the tournament. 

A video posted by Delhi Capitals took fans through their post-victory celebrations, and the smile on each member of the squad said it all. The video circulating on social media shows members of the Delhi squad huddled up in the DC dressing room and celebrating their win with the very famous catchphrase, “How’s the josh?”

Speaking of the match, the Delhi Capitals secured their fourth win in the tournament by taking down the Faf-led side on May 6, Saturday. Phil Salt’s explosive innings of 87 off 45 balls helped the team successfully chase down the target of 182 seamlessly with 20 balls left. Apart from Salt, Rilee Rossouw scored 35 off 22 balls helping the team in a critical match. In their next game, Delhi Capitals will clash against Chennai Super Kings on May 10 at the MA Chidambaram, Chepauk.
