The high-voltage game between Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians on Sunday night was paused for a brief time after a dog’s interruption in the middle of the ground at Narendra Modi Stadium. The incident happened when Mumbai Indians skipper Hardik Pandya was ready for his second ball in the first over.

The dog stayed for a brief second in the middle only to appear again after two more deliveries and strolled in the middle of the ground for a considerable amount of time. The visiting skipper even tried to pet the dog, but the dog was busy roaming around the largest stadium in the World.

Initially before entering the main field, the dog had sprinted and dodged all the security officials in a way that reminded fans of Lionel Messi’s sprint on several occasions to outflank his opposition.  Check the top betting trends on the  best betting apps in India  and sites.

In the viral video, the officials were seen kicking and stopping the dog on the outlines of the boundary before the dog hoaxed everyone to enter the field and halt the game for a few minutes.

Notably, during all this happening, the Narendra Modi Stadium erupted in concert with the chants of Mumbai Indians skipper “Hardik-Hardik” in a bid to take a dig on the former Gujarat Titans skipper.

Hardik was traded to his former franchise Mumbai Indians in an all-cash deal and was appointed as the captain of the franchise replacing their most successful IPL skipper Rohit Sharma before the start of the tournament.
