The ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022 is underway and the highly anticipated Super 12 clash between India and Pakistan is scheduled to take place on October 23. Ahead of the greatest cricketing rivalry, Hollywood actor and former WWE superstar Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson seemed to be ready for the action-packed world cup clash.

India have defeated Australia in their first warmup game on Monday by six runs while Pakistan faced a six wickets deficit against England in their opening warmup game.

The Rock is currently promoting his upcoming DC blockbuster, Black Adam and delivered a strong message ahead of India's T20 World Cup opener against arch-rivals Pakistan on October 23. Star Sports India took to their official Twitter handle to post a video of Dwayne Johnson talking about the 'greatest rivalry' in cricket.

The Rock said, "When the greatest rivals collide, the world will stand still. This is more than just a cricket match. It's time for India vs Pakistan. The greatest rivalry." At the end of the video, The Rock showed his iconic eyebrow raise to add to the intensity.

Black Adam starring Dwayne Johnson will be released on October 20 in India as the movie is expected to take the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) to new heights to match the level set by MCU's Avengers and other movies.

Meanwhile, The Rock is currently on a promotional spree as the Hollywood actor earlier reacted on his possible return to the WrestleMania 39 to challenge Roman Reigns for the WWE title.
