Brazil has been considered to be one of the favourites to win the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar. The Seleção Canarinho is led by Paris Saint Germain talisman Neymar Jr. But the streets of Qatar have witnessed something strange as a Neymar look-a-like has been impersonating the Brazilian international.

In a video posted by the FIFA World Cup Twitter account, this Neymar duplicate could be seen clicking selfies with fans across multiple venues in Qatar. A clip from Brazil vs Switzerland match also makes its way into the video where a lot of audience members were distracted by the Neymar impersonator.

Going back to the real Neymar, the 30-year-old has been dealing with an ankle injury and missed the last two group games for Brazil. But ahead of the Round of 16 stage, Brazil coach Tite gave an update on Neymar’s fitness.

"If he plays, it's because he is in full health and ready to start, to play from the beginning and the entire game with no limitations," coach Tite said of his talisman. "My preference is always to play my best players from the start."

Brazil's injury problems are not limited to Neymar as starting full-backs Danilo and Alex Sandro are out after injuries suffered earlier in the competition. Similarly, backup left-back Ales Telles and forward Gabriel Jesus, who also suffered a knee injury against Cameroon, were officially ruled out for the rest of the tournament by the Brazilian FA on Saturday.
