The last few days have proven to be quite dramatic for Pakistan Cricket Board after New Zealand and England cricket teams pulled out of their tours, putting PCB in a very difficult position. A continuous blame game has been going on since then with many former cricketers putting the entire blame on the BLACKAPS and England & Wales Cricket Board for not acting professionally.

Amid all the ongoing tension, a Twitter user came up with a hilarious post where he sarcastically blamed Pakistani cricketer Umar Akmal for New Zealand and England cancelling their tours. The netizen shared a rib-tickling video of the 31-year-old.

Umar Akmal's video goes viral on social media

In the footage, the cricketer can be seen alongside a girl, where the duo is acting and lip-syncing on a famous Bollywood song "Pyaar Diyan Majbooriyan" from the movie "Chori Chori". These kind of videos are quite famous nowadays on platforms like 'Tik Tok' and 'Instagram Reels' but it is always strange and funny to see people, who are not from entertainment industry, posting these kind of videos.

The netizen, who had shared the footage, certainly did not look quite pleased with Umar Akmal's acting skills as he stated in his caption, "Why Umar, Why?"

Umar Akmal has had roller-coaster career

Just like his video receiving mixed reactions, Umar Akmal's cricket career has also been nothing short of roller-coaster. The right-handed batsman made his debut for Pakistan way back in 2009 and since then, he has represented his national side in 16 Tests, 121 ODIs and 84 T20Is. He has been touted as one of the most talented cricketers in Pakistan but his disciplinary issues off the field have often prevented his progress and growth.

He faced a major setback in his career when he was suspended by PCB in February 2020 for failure to report corrupt approaches to him. After initially receiving 3-year ban, it was later reduced to 12 months along with fine of PKR 4.25 million.

Although he is entertaining his fans on social media with his videos, everyone would rather hope to see the exciting batsman perform on the field once again in the final phase of his career.
