The YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul has offered a $20 million payday to Tommy Fury for a boxing rematch and MMA trilogy in a major development from the pro-fight scene. The Problem Child spoke in an interview about how all doors for Tommy Fury lead to him before his scheduled boxing match next month against Ryan Bourland in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Notably, in their first boxing match, Tommy Fury defeated Jake Paul by a split decision in February last year in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Fury had better of the punches while Paul got a knockdown registered under his belt, but at the end, the judges scorecard read 76-73, 76-73, 74-75 in favour of the English professional boxer.

When Marc Raimondi of ESPN asked Jake Paul about whether a rematch would happen this year, he stated that Tommy Fury is “too unrealistic in terms of offers and finances,” and his team are a bunch of “hard-headed people.” Paul also remarked that, “I'm on a different mission to become world champion. All doors for Tommy lead to me. I can do whatever I want.”

It led to Nakisa Bidarian, the Co-founder of MVP Promotions alongside Jake Paul, adding, “He's willing to fight him in boxing and if Jake wins, he's willing to enter the SmartCage in PFL with Tommy. There's a path there where it's close to $20 million in guaranteed money.”

Here is Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian speak about potential Tommy Fury rematch:

Eddie Hearn believes Wayne Rooney would beat Jake Paul in boxing match

The Matchroom Sport Chairman Eddie Hearn spoke in a recent interview about how he believes that the Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney would beat Jake Paul in a boxing match. The 44-year-old remarked that Wayne Rooney was once an amateur boxer who knows how to look after himself, prompting him to back the star footballer against Jake Paul.

Michael Benson of talkSPORT shared the excerpts of the interview on his X account, which read, “Eddie Hearn has said he believes Wayne Rooney would beat Jake Paul in a boxing match: “He used to box, he was actually an amateur, he knows how to look after himself… Wayne Rooney vs Jake Paul at Old Trafford is a huge event - and I’d back Rooney to win it.”
