Kieron Pollard is one of the biggest names in the history of Indian Premier League. The player, who started his career in the tournament in 2010, remains one of the key members for Mumbai Indians. Apart from his game, it is Pollard's on-field attitude that fetches him attention many a times.

In a similar incident, the Caribbean all-rounder hogged the limelight after getting involved in a heated exchange of words with Kolkata Knight Riders pacer Prasidh Krishna. The lanky Indian pacer seemed to be the one who initiated the fight. In the 15th over of MI's innings, Krishna tried to intimidate Pollard to which the all-rounder replied with an instant angry face and some heated words later.

Notably, Krishna claimed the wicket of set batsman Quinton de Kock on the penultimate ball of the 15th over, pushing Mumbai to 106/3. Overpowered with joy, the pacer tried to dominate Pollard and bowled a length delivery to him. The right-handed batter played it back to Krishna who in return tried to stop the ball. Even though Krishna could only help the ball reflect from his hands, he pretended to throw it back to Pollard. However, his gesture wasn't welcomed by Pollard who got angry and later said some words to the lanky speedster.

Talking about the game, KKR registered a 7-wicket win over Mumbai. Chasing a target of 156 runs, Venkatesh Iyer's 53 off 30 and Rahul Tripathi's unbeaten 74 off 42 made mockery of MI's total as the Eoin Morgan-led side reached home with 29 balls to spare. Krishna made his contribution count in the first innings with the figures of 2/43, while Pollard got run-out for 21 off 15. The win helped KKR to claim the number 4 spot. Meanwhile, the loss for Mumbai, which could be seen as a wake-up alarm, saw them slipping to the 6th spot.

Mumbai Indians play their next game against Royal Challengers Bangalore on September 26 in Dubai. Before them KKR would be facing Chennai Super Kings on the very same day in the 3:30pm game in Abu Dhabi.
