After sealing the series, the Rohit Sharma-led side is locking horns with West Indies in the 3rd T20I at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. As Hitman lost the toss, he made an announcement about making some significant changes in the squad and surprised everyone by opting to come down the order while giving Ruturaj Gaikwad and Ishan Kishan to open the innings for India.

Although hosts started well with both the openers hitting some impressive boundaries, Ruturaj Gaikwad could not capitalize on the opportunity. In the 3rd over of the match, the right-handed batter was caught by Kyle Mayers, in a bit unorthodox manner, after getting a big leading-edge on an out-swinger by Jason Holder.

While Ruturaj was trying to play the shot on the leg-side, a big outside edge took the ball at the third man, where Kyle Mayers took quite a hilarious catch. The West Indies fielder first lost sight of the ball but kept his concentration to take a juggling catch in his 3rd attempt.

After Ruturaj Gaikwad's early wicket, Ishan Kishan, along with Shreyas Iyer, attempted to steady the ship for team India by playing some cracking shots all-around, but Iyer once again failed to spend time on the crease. He lost his wicket to Hayden Walsh after getting caught by Jason Holder in the 9th over of the match, with score reading 63/2 in 8.3 overs.
