Cricket is an interesting sport. Whilst some associated with the sport are lauded for their performance, some are also heavily criticised for any bizzare moments that take place on the field. What makes the sport unique and engaging to watch is the kind of bizarre dismissals and great shots, unplayable deliveries which are just too good for any batter. One such similar incident took place during the fifth and final Ashes Test

What caught most attention in the ongoing game was the bizarre dismissal of Marnus Labuschagne, who was dismissed in bizarre fashion by Stuart Broad as the Australian batter slipped and fell in his crease surprisingly. The incident took place during the first ball of the 22nd over, Marnus Labuschagne had already made 44 runs off 53 balls and was batting alongside Travis Head, who had made 30 runs by then.

Cricket Australia took to Twitter to share the video of the dismissal. Labuschagne shuffled across the off-side as he tried to flick the ball over the leg-side but he hilariously ended up slipping and falling on the crease. Meanwhile, the ball smashed into his stumps in a truly bizarre moment. Many fans went on to mention that all players were slipping on the field due to their spikes.

Labuschagne has been Australia's top-scorer in the ongoing Ashes with 330 runs in eight innings at an average of 47.14, which include one century and 2 fifty-plus scores. Australia have already taken the lead in the series 3-0 after winning the games in Brisbane, Adelaide and Melbourne. The fourth Ashes Test ended in a draw and the final Ashes Test will be the last opportunity for England to register a victory in the five-match series.
