League toppers Los Angeles FC lost to Austin FC 4-1 in the Major League Soccer match on Friday night at the Q2 Stadium. Before the half-time, both the teams were involved in a massive brawl after LAFC center-back Jesus Murillo pushed his opponent Maximiliano Urruti into the stands.

In the western conference game, the top two ranked teams faced each other and the frontrunners had to experience a humiliating defeat in their away game. Austin were leading LAFC 4-0 till the one hour mark as Christian Arango scored the first and the only goal for the away side in the 61st minute.

During the 38th minute, LAFC's Murillo pushed Austin FC striker Urruti into the stands, which sparked a massive brawl between the players of the two sides. Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini can be spotted trying to settle down the issue in a video posted on social media.

Gareth Bale's first start for the MLS club was not up to the mark and LAFC star Carlos Vela's lackluster performance kept the league toppers away from scoring more goals. On the other side, Austin opened the goal scoring in the first half with  Fagundez’s free-kick golazo in the 32nd minute. 

After his major involvement in the brawl during the first half, Maximiliano Urruti scored a brace in the second half to give a 3-0 lead to his side over LAFC. Sebastian Driussi scored the fourth goal before the one-hour mark on the clock.
