The majority of his beyond-the-arc shots came in the fourth quarter but before his third  3-pointer,  Russell passed to James with 9:06 remaining on the clock. But James immediately whipped the ball right back to him with a hilarious facial expression. After getting the ball back, Russell rose to drill a contested shot over Jalen Williams.

I just kind of threw it up there. Lucky shot:  Russell on shot over   Williams

Talking about his contested triple,  D'Angelo Russell said,  "I didn’t know I made the shot. I just kind of threw it up there. Lucky shot." The 29-year-old further spoke about his shooting ability which allows the Lakers to stretch the floor. He said,  "My teammates find me when I’m hot. It makes it easier when I can stretch the floor like that. That’s what shooting does. It’s a pleasure."

Russell also praised the young OKC side for being a well-coached team with efficient players across the roster. He said,  "They’re so well-coached that you can’t relax. That team has got everything you need to win and to be efficient at this level. You’ve got to be ready to play against those guys. It’s no fluke (to beat them)."
