Amid the continuous talks surrounding Bronny James’ participation in the NBA Draft 2024 following the medical clearance to play in the league, the son of the Los Angeles Lakers superstar, LeBron James, took part in several drills at the NBA Draft Combine. Bronny impressed everyone with his agitation and strength as the 19-year-old recorded the fourth-highest vertical jump at 40.5 inches.

Bronny, who could pair with his legendary dad in the upcoming season of the NBA in LA Lakers, displayed some quick and repulsive moves in the Combine and raised some hopes of echoing his father’s feat in the world’s biggest Basketball league. However, after enduring a poor season with the USC Trojans recently, the prospects of him for the first draft have slightly diminished.

On Tuesday, despite being criticized for his relatively short height than his father LeBron, Bronny transpired a remarkable feat by displaying his springy legs to shoot up to explosive slam dunks. With the fierce jump, he recorded a scathing score of 40.5 inches which proved to be the fourth highest among the participants who took part in the event.

Apart from showcasing the full flow of his springy legs in the vertical jump, Bronny also made his NBA Draft case stronger with perfect execution in the movement shooting drill, where the James Jr. registered an incredible feat of going a full minute and 15 seconds without missing a shot in the drill. The test is meant for conditioning, and shooting when tired.

Under the glimmering spotlight of Chicago’s Wintrust Arena, Bronny embraced the arena with his athleticism and agility, which helped him cement his Draft case even stronger. Under the three-point line shooting drill, he pulled 19 out of 25 shot attempts in his favor which was significantly better than his 26.7 percent performance during his tenure with USC.
