Former Pakistan pacer Sohail Tanvir was seen bowling spin in the 2023 edition of the Legends League Cricket Masters, which is being played in Doha, Qatar. An exhibition tournament between teams stacked with legends, the LLC has already produced some great moments. But this visual of Tanvir, bowling left-arm spin with his wrong-footed action took the cake.

This took place in the game between Asia Lions and World Giants, which turned into a 10-10 over contest due to rain. The Lions posted a decent 100-run target for the Giants, who got off to an incredible start. Chris Gayle turned back the time and smashed bowlers all across the park.

Here came Tanvir with his finger spin and dismissed Giants captain Aaron Finch off a classic left-arm delivery. The Pakistani tossed the ball up which Finch tried to slog but only managed to hit into Asghar Afghan hands.

Going back to the game, the Asia Lions batted incredibly well despite losing early wickets in the rain-affected game. After Upul Tharanga’s dismissal in the second over, the Lions quickly got back on track with another dominant batting display by Tillakaratne Dilshan and Misbah-ul-Haq.

The Sri Lankan all-rounder scored 32 in 34 balls with three fours and one six. While Misbah-ul-Haq once again demolished opposition bowlers with a hard-hitting knock of 44 runs in just 18 balls. This included four fours and three sixes as the former Pakistan captain batted at a strike rate of 231.58. On the back of these batting performances with another stellar bowling effort, the Asia Lions won the game by 35 runs.
