If there is one aspect of the game that has been revolutionalised since the advent of limited-overs cricket, it has to be fielding. While ODI cricket started it, T20 cricket has just taken it to the next level where the fielders are willing to throw themselves for every run and even at a remote possibility of a wicket.

It is still only Day 1 in the Super 12 stage of the T20 World Cup but one has witnessed a couple of amazing catches on the field. While the catch that Glenn Phillips to remove Marcus Stoinis was nothing short of exemplary, this catch by Liam Livingstone will also be one of the early contenders to be the catch of the tournament.

Livingstone's fielding effort came in the 3rd ball of the 7th over of the Afghanistan innings. Ben Stokes had banged this ball a bit short and wide of the left-handed Hazratullah Zazai who sliced it on the off side. Although Hazai couldn't time it well enough it was just about hit well which carried it to the Livingstone in the deep. However, it wasn't an easy chance at all as the fielder ran in covering some good distance before timing his slide to perfection to complete the catch.

He then celebrated excitedly and was joined by his teammates to celebrate the fall of the wicket.
