Lucknow Super Giants spinner Digvesh Rathi has been in limelight during his team’s matches in the ongoing IPL 2025. The 25-year-old has caught the attention of the fans for his viral ‘notebook’ celebration after taking a wicket. Rathi has been seen taking out an invisible notebook and writing something on it after taking the rival team’s batter’s wicket. Not just in his hand, Rathi also did this celebration on the ground multiple times. However, the leg spinner has also been fined for his celebration.

Recently, Digvesh Rathi finally revealed the reason for his viral celebration. In a video posted by LSG on their social media, a fan asked Rathi “The signature celebration you do after taking a wicket, where did it start from? To this Rathi replied “Whenever there is a tournament, I carry a notebook and write down all the name.” After his reply, the audience present gave a loud cheer.

LSG to take on RCB in last league game of IPL 2025

LSG will end their IPL 2025 campaign with the last league match of the season against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The game won’t make any difference for LSG but it is going to be crucial for RCB to finish at the top-two in the points table. LSG had a disappointing season where they failed to finish in the top four. Now, Rishabh Pant and his men will be looking to ned their campaign on a winning note while RCB will aim to get a big win to avoid playing eliminator in the playoffs. The match will be played at Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow on May 27.
