The 2021-22 football season has entered a very crucial phase with a couple of months remaining for it's conclusion. It's a packed schedule for everyone with so many matches lined up one after the other and teams are looking for moments of individual brilliance to get results in these games. Well, Atletico Madrid got one such stroke of absolute genius from their talisman - Luis Suarez.
After Joao Felix had scored an early goal for Atletico, the game was far from over with Osasuna, at home, proving to be a continuous threat. The visitors needed a goal to get some cushion on the evening and this is when an incredible sequence of events unfolded.

It all happened in the 59th minute of the contest when Osasuna were attacking from the left flank in search of an equalizer. After a low cross was intercepted by Atletico defender, the ball landed in the path of Joao Felix who played a beautiful lobbed ball towards Luis Suarez.
With Osasuna defense completely out of shape, Suarez recognized an opportunity to something outrageous. After the ball bounced a couple of times, the Atletico striker got himself into a position and smashed a left-footed strike from around 36 yards out.
While the goalkeeper Sergio Herrera was trying his best to scramble back into the position, he was caught in no man's land as the Suarez shot landed straight into the back of net, leaving everyone in awe of Suarez's heroics.

Osasuna could never recover from this moment of individual masterclass by Suarez, which is going to be one of the contenders for 'goal of the season'. A late goal by Angel Correa completely sealed the deal for Atletico as they won the contest 3-0 in the end.
