Premier League giants Manchester United have registered their first win of the ongoing UEFA Europa League campaign against Moldovan club Sheriff Tiraspol on Thursday. Manchester United defeated Tiraspol 2-0 in an away game as Cristiano Ronaldo and Jadon Sancho both found the back of the net in the first half.

During the half-time break, a weary Ronaldo, who scored his first goal of the season, refused to take a picture with a fan while moving to the dugout.

After losing to Spanish club Real Sociedad last week at the Old Trafford, the Red Devils were all over the Moldovan club last night as Jadon Sancho scored a beautiful goal to give the English club a 17' lead followed by Cristiano Ronaldo's promising spot kick, which was won by his compatriot Diogo Dalot.

Strikes from Sancho and Ronaldo gave a  breath of relief to the Man United boss Erik ten Hag after the dominating first half. While moving to the stands, a fan approached the Portuguese legend for a picture but was denied by the star forward with a gentle tap at her back.
