Australia and South Africa are locking horns in the second Test of the three-match series on Monday (26 December) at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Australian captain Pat Cummins won the toss and decided to bowl first. After inviting South Africa to bat first, the Aussie bowlers bundled out the Proteas side for 189 on the back of a fifer from Cameron Green.

With the visitors being reduced to 65/4 after 28 overs, Marnus Labuschagne produced a screamer to add more worries to the batting line-up of the South African side.

On the third ball of the twenty-eighth over, Khaya Zondo who was at the strike nailed a drive off Cameron Green. But Marnus Labuschagne, who was placed at the cover was quick to react. The Australian batter moved swiftly to his left and leaped across as he went to collect the ball.

Cameron Green shines with a fifer

Australian all-rounder Cameron Green registered his maiden five-wicket haul and was the chief destroyer. After breaking the crucial partnership between set batters in Marco Jansen and Kyle Verreynne, he sent the lower order quickly. With the paltry score of 189/10, South Africa once again failed to reach the 200-run mark, being their seventh innings in a row.
