Lionel Messi-led Inter Miami faced Al Hilal in a friendly on Monday, January 29 at the Riyadh’s Kingdom Arena. With this game against Al Hilal, Messi’s Inter Miami started its globe-trotting pre-season tour ahead of the start of the Major League Soccer season, which is scheduled to start on February 21.

What caught eyeballs in the match between Al Hilal and Inter Miami was Michael Delgado’s ‘Siuuu’ celebration. Delgado pulled the iconic CR7 celebration in front of Lionel Messi after putting a decisive goal to win the match in the 44th minute.

Speaking of the match, former Newcastle and Fulham striker Aleksander Mitrovic put Al Hilal ahead in the tenth minute, with Abdullah Al-Hamdan doubling it in the next three minutes. Thereafter, Inter Miami opened their scoresheet with Luis Suarez bagging his maiden goal for Inter Miami. Michael Delgado restored the two-goal advantage in the 44th minute with Messi coming on the scoresheet in the 54th minute to help Miami go one goal deficit and David Ruiz eventually levelling the core a minute later.
Just when Inter Miami looked to draw the match, Malcom scored the winner for Al Hilal with Messi and Suarez’s goal going in vain. The Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami will next play Al Nassr, which features Cristiano Ronaldo on February 1, Thursday.
