In the ongoing Big Bash League match between Melbourne Renegades and Brisbane Heat, the Renegades won quick wickets in their innings. After opting to bat first, Heat posted 137 on board at the GMHBA Stadium, South Geelong.

 

In the very first over of the Renegades innings, Michael Neser struck twice to leave them at 6/2. While Neser struck on the first ball of the innings, he took the second wicket on the sixth ball of the very same over. He ended the over conceding six runs. The 32-year-old Australian cricketer was then called in to bowl his second over and the third of the innings.

 

Neser went on the clean bowled skipper Nic Maddinson and then went on to dismiss Jonathan Wells to complete his hattrick.

The 32-year-old became the first player in Big Bash League season 12 to complete a hat-trick. Talking about the match, Melbourne Renegades went on to win the match by four wickets
