India's title dreams in the T20 World Cup are quickly dwindling thanks to a scintillating 90-run opening stand by England's Jos Buttler and Alex Hales. This Indian bowling effort hit a new low as Mohammad Shami's misfield cost the Men in Blue four extra runs.

As Buttler hit one of his patented scoop shots towards the fine-leg boundary which was fielded by Shami. But instead of directly throwing the ball towards the stumps, the Bengal fast bowler passed the ball towards Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who missed the ball completely.

This mishap allowed the England batters to take four runs and continue the solid opening partnership. Indian captain Rohit Sharma was extremely angry with the incident as he shouted at the fielders.

After this mishap, the Indian bowlers continued their struggles as the England openers put up a record 170-run opening stand to register a historic 10-wicket victory. Reacting to the loss, Indian captain Rohit Sharma talked about how the Indian team wasn't up to the mark and hence couldn't cope against England.

He said, "Pretty disappointed how it turned up today. We batted well at the backend to get that score. We were not up to the mark with the ball, we couldn't turn up today. It's all about handling the pressure in knockout games."

"All these guys have played enough to understand that. These guys have played under pressure in IPL games, it's all about keeping calm. We were nervy to start with, but you got to give credit to their openers, they played really well," h e further stated.
