Following a commanding win by 127 runs in the first Test of the two-match series in Multan, Pakistan spinner Sajid Khan had his teammates Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam replicate the thigh-five celebration made famous by former Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan. On day three of the first Test at the Multan Cricket Stadium, Sajid Khan picked up a five-wicket haul, to help bowl out West Indies for just 123 runs in pursuit of the 251-run target.

Notably, after taking four wickets in the West Indies first innings, getting them dismissed for 137 runs, Sajid Khan went one better in the second innings on a pitch at the Multan Cricket Stadium, which assisted the spin bowlers like no other. His spin bowling partners Noman Ali and Abrar Ahmed also picked up six and five wickets respectively in the first Test, to ensure that Pakistan took a 1-0 lead in the two-match series.

After the conclusion of the first Test in Multan, Sajid Khan, who was declared the player of the match, celebrated the victory in style alongside Pakistan cricket’s stalwarts Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam. When Sajid Khan was showing his teammates how to do a thigh-five, they had a rye smile on their face before doing the celebration the best they possibly can.

Moreover, just a day ago, Sajid Khan was at the press conference as Pakistan took a giant step towards winning the first Test match, where he talked about Kevin Sinclair, the fellow spinner from West Indies, replicating his thigh-five celebration. Sajid Khan was happy about the opposition player and the fans taking up his thing, but at the same time, he also wanted to make his teammates Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam do it, which happened to be the case within 24 hours.

The second Test of the two-match series between Pakistan and West Indies is set to begin at the Multan Cricket Stadium on January 25.
