After opting to bat first, David Warner-led Delhi Capitals posted 130 on the board for Gujarat Titans. However, the Warner-led fell like a pack of cards, before Aman Khan’s maiden half-century and Ripal Patel’s crucial 13-bll 23 in the middle. Gujarat Titans’ pacer Mohammed Shami was the pick of the bowlers as he finished with the figures of 4/11 from his four-over spell.

After clinching four wickets, Mohammed Shami climbed the ladder on the Purple Cap and was then called to chat to in the mid-innings break. During the interaction, Shami was asked by one of the IPL commentators whether he wanted to bowl few more overs. Shami in response gave a hilarious reply. “Petrol khatam ho gaya tha. Sara dam laga chuka tha (Not at all. My petrol was finished),” Shami said in reply during the on-air interaction.
