Croatia took a one-goal lead over Morocco to end the first half in the third place play-off in the FIFA World Cup 2022 at the Khalifa International Stadium on Saturday. While Croatia took the lead in just seven minutes of the game, Morocco defender Achraf Dari scored a spectacular equaliser after just two minutes to level the game.
While Croatia lost 3-0 to Argentina in the semifinal on Tuesday, Morocco faced a 2-0 defeat to France to qualify for the third place play-off in the FIFA World Cup 2022.

In the 7th minute, Croatia center-back Josko Gvardiol opened the scoring with his magnificent header. Similarly, Moroccan defender Dari equalised with a header in the 9th minute.

In the last few minutes of the first half, Croatia forward Mislav Oršić found the ball in the box and latched a curler above the goalkeeper to find the back of the net. Dinamo Zagreb forward scored in the 42nd minute to help his team lead the game by 2-1 at the end of the first half.
Croatia managed a one-goal lead at the end of the full-time in the third place play-off against Morocco and win a massive prize money of Rs 225 crore after finishing at the third place in the FIFA World Cup 2022.
