Boston Celtics’ Jayson Tatum injured his right leg during game four of the Eastern Conference semifinals against New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden in New York on Tuesday, May 13. After that, he was carried away by his teammates off the court as it turned out to be a serious injury. Notably, Tatum's right leg got hurt when he returned to the ground after trying a dunk.

As it turned out to be a disappointing series of events, New York Knicks players helped Jayson Tatum to get his courage back as they clapped for him while he was being carried away off the court. Along with this, his teammate Josh Hart also showed a kind gesture towards him by rubbing his head.

“He’s the type of guy, he gets right up. So he didn’t and we’ll know tomorrow exactly what it is. But yeah, I mean it’s tough to watch a guy like him get carried like that,” Boston Celtics coach Joe Mazzulla was quoted as saying by NBA.com.

Boston Celtics teammate Al Horford also showed his concerns towards his injury and hoped for him to comeback soon.

“I mean, at this point, I'm concerned about Jayson. That's the most important to me. ... The game stuff, we'll address it. But I am just hoping that he’s ok,” Horford said as quoted in Times of India.

"Just from the care that I have for him and what he means to us, what he means to Boston. Just very tough for us," he further added.
