Nicholas Pooran, the star batter for West Indies and Lucknow Super Giants, was spotted shirtless, dancing to the tunes of the iconic song 'Bolo Tara Ra Ra' from the Indian singer and songwriter Daler Mehndi. He was joined in by the LSG teammates, including the likes of Krishnappa Gowtham, Ravi Bishnoi, and Avesh Khan.

The official Twitter account of Lucknow Super Giants posted the video tweet, with the caption, “Moooooooood right now.” LSG players were celebrating the back-to-back playoffs qualification in the Indian Premier League for the UP-based franchise, after they had defeated Kolkata at the Eden Gardens by one-run on May 20.

Watch the video here:

For the unversed, Nitish Rana, the captain of Kolkata Knight Riders won the toss and decided to bowl first. They made a good start as one of the openers for LSG, Karan Sharma, was dismissed cheaply inside the powerplay. Quinton de Kock and Prerak Mankad put together a decent partnership of 41 runs before they lost four more wickets in quick succession.

Then, Ayush Badoni and Nicholas Pooran got together to resurrect the innings for the Super Giants with a 74-run stand. Pooran top scored in the innings with 58 runs of 30 deliveries, including four fours and five maximums all over the Eden Gardens. Vaibhav Arora, Shardul Thakur, and Sunil Narine picked up a couple of wickets each for the Knight Riders.

In their pursuit of 177-run target, KKR made a very good start as their openers Jason Roy and Venkatesh Iyer put together a 61-run partnership inside the powerplay. They were eventually reduced to 120/5, needing 57 runs in 26 balls. Rinku Singh, the last recognised batter for Kolkata, took the Lucknow bowling to the cleaners in the final four overs, but it wasn’t enough as the visitors won the game on the last ball. The left-handed middle order batter for the Knight Riders finished up with 67 runs of 36 deliveries, including six fours and four sixes.
