When it’s India and Pakistan you just can’t keep things low. Chaos is inevitable. And it did happen on Sunday too. What a finish it was!! Crazy won’t suffice the emotions in the Indian camp. Pakistan fans would accept that too. It’s called the biggest cricketing rivalry for a reason. Those who don’t believe it, watch the last over's highlight below.

No-ball, wicket on a free hit, stumping, boundary and a four to finish the game, this is how the last over transpired. And in the end, it was India on the right side. 16 runs were required off the last over. Everyone banked on Hardik Pandya to finish things off with left-arm spinner Mohammad Nawaz to bowl the last over. But, a plain finish was just not acceptable.

Nawaz dismissed Pandya on the very first ball of the 20th over. Five runs were required off the last five balls. Dinesh Karthik came in, hoicked but missed. Nevertheless, Kohli and Karthik ran a single. Nawaz bowled a full toss again and Kohli smacked it for a six. Kohli demanded for a no-ball and the leg umpire obliged. Pakistan objected but it was just not acceptable. The equation was down to 6 off 3.

Nawaz bowled wide to avoid a maximum but it was just too wide. Equation, 5 off 3. On the next delivery, Nawaz cleaned Kohli up but it was a free hit, so Kohli survived. Not only he survived, but India also ran three runs reducing the equation to 2 off 2. But wait, it was not going to be simple. Mohammad Rizwan stumped out Karthik. 2 required off the last ball with Ashwin on the strike. The pressure was creeping in badly on Nawaz and resultantly he bowled another wide.

Now, with one required off the last ball, Babar Azam called his fielders up. But Ashwin had other plans. The all-rounder nonchalantly lifted a full ball for a boundary bringing a 4-wicket win for India. Post that, it was celebrations all over.
