There are players who are irreplaceable: Pep Guardiola on Kevin de Bruyne
Kevin de Bruyne had a memorable stint with Manchester City from 2015 to 2025. In these 10 years, he won 16 trophies with the club. Talking about Bruyne’s legacy, City boss Pep Guardiola said how important he was for the club and can never be replaced.
“It’s a sad day. He (Kevin) will be missed. On the other side, I think it was a lovely day for him to make again a contribution to achieve that victory that is of massive importance,” Guardiola was quoted as saying by Sportstar.
“There are players who are irreplaceable, of course, so difficult to do. It’s not about how much they provide in goals or assists or incredible steals. (It’s) the connection, the way you play, and year by year, provide for this club that the people love,” he further added.
