The ongoing match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Lucknow Super Giants saw some halt in the penultimate overs after the o-ball controversy on the earlier delivery. Earlier in the match, both on-field batters in Henrich Klaasen and Abdul Samad were left furious with third umpire calling a no-ball a “fair delivery”.

 

However, it did leave a couple of people unhappy, the fans present inside the stadium were also left furious. Following this no-ball issue, fans from the stands reportedly threw some nuts and bolts towards the LSG dugout. This incident took place on the fourth delivery of the 19 th  over with Klaasen also left distracted as he pointed out towards the LSG dugout which had some angry reactions.

Soon after this, Andy Flower, the LSG coach was also seen having a chat with the umpires. The highest run-scorer for SRH, Henrich Klaasen was also left disappointed with this gesture from the home crowd. “Disappointed of the crowd to be honest, that’s not what you want. That also broke the momentum, not great umpiring either,” he said during the mid-inning interaction.

 

Talking of the match, SRH posted 182/6 in their 20 overs after opting to bat first. While their skipper Aiden Markram yet again failed to make a mark with his bat as he was dismissed at the score of 28 off 20 deliveries.
