Cricket commentators play a very important role in viewers' experience of a cricket match. While they not only have to help the viewer better understand the situation of the match, it is the story of the game which needs to be told in an exciting manner that can really be the difference between a good and a bad broadcast.

Although a few of the commentators often crack a few jokes in the middle to keep the atmosphere light as well as entertain the audience, a recent remark from Harbhajan Singh while he was commentating has caught the attention of the fans.

The veteran spinner while describing Nicholas Pooran's dismissal during the match against Lucknow Super Giants on Monday used the word "Chooran" simply because it rhymed with Pooran. He could be heard saying: "Pooran jo khila rahe the Chooran aur ab apne Chooran ka khud hi swad lete hue bahar ja rahe hain."

The video of the same has gone viral in which a fan has compared how the English broadcasters narrated the same dismissal with Simon Doull saying: "Down to long off, straight into the hands of Long off it is. Full toss does the work."

Meanwhile, Harbhajan has made a big statement regarding the recent form of his ex-team Chennai Super Kings. The 41-year-old said that he feels MS Dhoni is still leading the team despite Ravindra Jadeja being the new captain.

"I feel that MS Dhoni is still captain of the team. When I look at Jadeja, he is fielding outside the ring. By doing that you won’t be able to control too many things but he has given a headache to MS Dhoni to look after the field setting and everything," Harbhajan said on Star Sports.

"He is shedding some of his own weight and putting it on Dhoni’s shoulders that 'look after the field setting'," he added before saying that Jaddu needs to stand up to his own responsibilities.

Notably, Chennai Super Kings have lost all their 3 matches in IPL 2022 so far.
