If there is a young bowler in India who is impressing every time he steps on the field, it has to be Prasidh Krishna. The right-arm pacer started to get into limelight with his consistent performances in IPL with Kolkata Knight Riders. He earned a national cap later on and has been absolutely phenomenal in the limited opportunities he has got so far.

In 7 ODIs, Prasidh Krishna has scalped 18 wickets at an economy of 4.84. He was quite lethal with his new-ball bowling against the West Indies in recent series and seeing him move the white ball in both directions, everyone started to think that he could prove to be deadly with the red ball in this form. Well, they were not wrong!

As the 26-year-old turned up for Karnataka in Ranji Trophy 2022 game against Jammu and Kashmir, he wreaked havoc. He generated bounce and bowled quick to destroy a solid-looking batting unit, which featured Abdul Samad, Parveez Rasool, Qamran Iqbal, Jatin Wadhwan, Shubham Pundir and Fazil Rashid.

Krishna ended the innings with magical figures of 12-1-35-6 as J&K were bowled out on 93 in first innings, in reply to Karnataka's 302. With his express bowling, the pacer has certainly shifted the match in favour of his side in Chennai.
