Lucknow Super Giants’ spinner Ravi Bishnoi stunned everyone after he smashed a massive six against Mumbai Indians pacer Jasprit Bumrah in match number 45 of IPL 2025 at Wankhede Stadium. Chasing a target of 216 runs, LSG had already lost eight wickets and still needed 68 runs from the last three overs. After that, Bumrah came to bowl the 18th over with four wickets to his name and was looking for his five-wicket haul.
On the last ball of the 18th over, Ravi Bishnoi smashed a huge six over long on. Although this six didn’t make much difference in the game, Bishnoi was seen celebrating after hitting MI’s best bowler for a maximum. LSG skipper Rishabh Pant also had a laugh watching Bishnoi from the dugout. Bishnoi scored 13 runs off 14 balls, hitting four sixes.

MI move to top two after 54-run win over LSG in IPL 2025
Talking about the match, Mumbai Indians registered their fifth consecutive win as they defeated Lucknow Super Giants by 54 runs at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. With this win, MI now jumped to the second spot in the points table with six wins and four losses so far. MI didn’t have a great start to their season as they kept losing back-to-back matches. Now, the five-time champions made a great comeback and are now standing in the top two of the points table.
With the help of half-centuries by Ryan Rickelton and Suryakumar Yadav, MI posted 215 runs for the loss of seven wickets in their 20 overs. In reply, LSG were bowled out for 161 runs in 20 overs as MI registered a big win with Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult taking four wickets and three wickets respectively, while Will Jacks also put two in his bag.
