
Ravindra Jadeja and Chennai Super Kings score 10 runs in two balls to help the Yellow Army win their fifth IPL title. Chasing 171 in 15 overs, Chennai were given the perfect start as Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway, put up 74 in just 6.4 overs. Then cameos by Ajinkya Rahane and Ambati Rayudu kept CSK in the game.
With Shivam Dube standing at one end, CSK lost quick wickets to MohiT Sharma and then came Ravindra Jadeja, who took some time and then found a few boundaries as the final over loomed. With 13 runs needed in the last over, CSK managed just three runs in the first four balls. Then on the fifth ball, Jadeja smashed Mohit Sharma down the ground and on the last ball, Sharma's leg-side full toss got hit Jadeja's pad and raced for a boundary, winning CSk the FInal.

CSK's star Ravindra Jadeja talked about how he and the team wanted to dedicate this win to MS Dhoni. He further expressed thanked the Chennai fans, who have supported the side incredibly throughout the 2023 season. He said, " Feeling amazing winning fifth title in front of my home crowd. They've come in big numbers to support CSK. This crowd has been amazing."
